Zenaida Duarte, or Zen, is a Miami-raised certified reiki practitioner who has been practicing in the healing arts for over five years. Zen received her reiki certification from a well-renowned practitioner in the Miami area and has evolved her practice to include crystal or gemstone therapy. An autodidact, Zen began learning about spiritual practices at a young age and decided to employ her education and skills to bring healing to her community through crystal reiki. She centers her practice around the principles of diversity and accessibility, and her services are open to all individuals. Reiki is an ancient Japanese palm healing technique that helps balance the mind, body, and spirit. During reiki sessions Zen channels a universal life force to help her patrons heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically. She adds another layer of healing to her practice by using crystals or gemstones that she picks for each individual patron based on their needs. The addition of crystals to a reiki session truly enhances the experience.
